1 Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the JobLynk platform by recruiters, employers, and clients ("Users"). By registering, accessing, or using JobLynk, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
JobLynk is an online recruitment platform that enables employers and recruiters to advertise job vacancies and access candidate profiles.
2 Definitions
- "Platform" refers to JobLynk's website and services
- "User" refers to any recruiter, employer, or client using the Platform
- "Candidate" refers to individuals who create profiles or upload CVs
- "Services" refers to job advertisements, candidate database access, and related offerings
3 User Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally authorised to represent a business or entity
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
4 Account Registration
- Users must create an account to access services
- Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login details
- JobLynk reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse
5 Services Provided
JobLynk provides:
- Job advertisement listings
- Access to candidate database (subject to subscription/payment)
- Recruitment-related tools and features
JobLynk does not guarantee:
- Candidate suitability
- Number of applications
- Successful hires
6 Payment Terms
- All services are payable upfront unless otherwise agreed
- Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice
- No refunds will be issued once a job advert has been published or for unused Bundles or job adverts
7 Use of Platform
Users agree NOT to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
- Discriminate unlawfully in job advertisements
- Use candidate data for purposes other than recruitment
- Share or resell candidate data
8 Data Protection & POPIA Compliance
JobLynk complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). By using the Platform, Users agree that:
- Candidate data may only be used for lawful recruitment purposes
- Personal information must be handled securely and confidentially
- Users act as responsible parties when accessing candidate data
JobLynk:
- Collects and processes personal information lawfully
- Implements reasonable security safeguards
- Does not sell personal data to third parties
9 Candidate Data Usage
Users may:
- View candidate profiles
- Contact candidates for job opportunities
Users may NOT:
- Store, distribute, or misuse candidate data
- Use data for marketing unrelated to recruitment
- Contact candidates for non-employment purposes
10 Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and platform design remain the property of JobLynk.
Users may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission
11 Limitation of Liability
JobLynk shall not be liable for:
- Any hiring decisions made by Users
- Loss of business, revenue, or data
- Platform downtime or technical issues
Use of the Platform is at the User's own risk.
12 Termination
JobLynk reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Remove job listings
- Restrict access for breach of terms
13 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
14 Amendments
JobLynk reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

By using JobLynk, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
